Digital Inclusion Lead joins ELCAP to help bridge the digital divide

Easington Lane-based charity ELCAP has welcomed a new Digital Inclusion Lead as it strengthens its commitment to tackling digital exclusion across the local community.

Dominic Platt has joined the organisation following a recent funding success and will lead ELCAP’s digital inclusion programme, helping people access the devices, skills and support they need to participate confidently in an increasingly digital world.

Working closely with community partners, volunteers and local organisations, Dominic will help reduce digital exclusion by refurbishing and redistributing technology, while developing practical, community-led solutions that make a real difference to people’s lives.

Passionate about using technology as a force for good, Dominic believes digital access has the power to transform lives. His focus is on ensuring people of all ages and backgrounds can stay connected, access essential services, develop digital skills and build confidence in using technology.

Everyone at ELCAP is delighted to welcome Dominic to the team and looks forward to the positive impact his work will have on volunteers, visitors and the wider community.
