About
Easington Lane Community Access Point (ELCAP) is an independent community hub based at the Access Point on Brickgarth in Easington Lane. As a community-led organisation, we deliver a wide range of services and activities designed to respond to local needs, providing practical, joined-up support to help individuals and families overcome everyday challenges.
Established in 2001 through the merger of two long-standing charities, our roots stretch back over a century. This rich history has helped shape a trusted organisation with a strong reputation for making a real difference in the community.
Supporting our community
At its heart, ELCAP is all about people, ensuring our community thrives

Service provision
We don’t just run services, we help you find the right support, even if it’s not with us. Think of us as your friendly local connector.
Resourcing
We’re always on the lookout for funding, opportunities and new ideas to bring back into the community (we like to keep the good stuff flowing in).
Advocacy
We speak up for our community, making sure local voices are heard where it matters most.
Supporting others
We’re big believers in teamwork, helping other organisations grow stronger through advice, referrals and a hand with fundraising when needed.
Encouraging participation
This is your community and we’re here to help you shape it because the best ideas come from the people who live here.
Our Vision
